A Study on the Aging-well of Single Young-old Elderly Household Who Lives a Healthy and Active Daily Life

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to deeply understand the meaning of aging well experienced through social activities of the elderly in a single household who live a healthy and active daily life. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted on seven elderly aged 65 to 75 living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do, and the collected data were analyzed by applying Colaizzi¡¯s analysis method. The meaning of aging-well of single young-old households was analyzed into 6 categories, 20 groups of topics, and 70topics, and the contents of the categories , , , , , . The meaning of aging-well of Single Young-old households was ¡®living proudly and vigorously in the coexistence of freedom and harmony.¡¯ Based on the results, we understood the lives of single young-old elderly households and made practical social welfare suggestions for positive Old age.
